Sizes and measuring

Pakistani and Indian sizes vary from brand to brand, so Shagufta lists the garment's own measurements in inches. The easiest way to choose is to compare them with a suit that already fits you.

Lay the kameez flat. Chest is straight across under the arms, hips across the widest point, length from shoulder to hem. Double the chest and hips.

Chest	Lay the kameez flat and measure straight across, just under the arms. Double it. That's the chest measurement listed.
Hips	Measure straight across the widest part below the waist, usually near the side slits, then double it.
Length	From the top of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
Waist (trousers)	Across the waistband laid flat, doubled. Elasticated waists list a range.

Room to move

Most people like a kameez to measure about 2 to 4 inches more than their body at the chest. If you're between sizes, ask Shagufta how the piece fits or ask for a video.
